Blueberry Lakeside is a party member in Magical Vacation. Her specialty is water magic, and she is a student at Will-o'-Wisp Academy who comes from a line of aristocratic magicians. She is close friends with Lemon Airsupply.
Gameplay
Blueberry is the sixth classmate to be recruited by the party, joining in Cold Honey Palace. Her initial levels are level 7 and magic level 7.
Her element is water, represented by the spirit Rainy. It specializes in spells with horizontal areas of effect, which can debuff enemies' defense. Blueberry is a proficient magic caster, being able to quickly recharge her MP and tank magic attacks, but is vulnerable to physical damage.[1]

Profile
Personality
Blueberry is a smart and diligent girl who devotes a lot of time to her schoolwork, and is continuously at the top of her class as a result. Unfortunately, her frail body prevents her from partaking in strenuous activities, though she still tries taking on big responsibilities by herself. Her favorite pastimes include journaling and learning about her family's heritage. In Japanese, she tends to end sentences with わ wa.[1]
Appearance
Blueberry has curly violet hair that is held up with a green headband, and has irises of a violet hue. For a torso, she wears a teal cape and purple shirt, and has a frilly skirt patterned with yellow triangles along her waist. Her platform shoes are colored purple with brown bases, and she also wears a pair of pink slouch socks.[1]
Biography
Early life
For generations, the Lakeside family had produced several talented sorcerers in service of the royal family. Before Blueberry was born, a fortune-teller consulted her mother, receiving visions of a future where she became a great magician who changed the world. However, in order to serve the royal family, it was customary for her to excel in both literary and military arts. Blueberry was unfortunately born with a frail body, and thus had to forgo her duties. For her own safety, she spent most of her time studying indoors. At the age of 7, Blueberry spent half a year in the Water Realm with her grandmother in search of endangered water people, and also began learning the ancient Aquarim Language.[2]
During Blueberry's first day at Will-o'-Wisp Academy, her bag was snagged by Cabernet Cheaptrick. Luckily, she got it back when Lemon Airsupply intervened and pummeled Cabernet. Ever since then, Blueberry and Lemon have been inseparable companions.[3]

Return to the Kingdom
Blueberry ventured to the Water Realm to further study her magic, and shared many stories with the water people.[1]
Magical Starsign
In the Japanese version of Magical Starsign, Blueberry was mentioned by a girl named Corduroy near Ambergris Preparatory School, saying she was one of many famous graduates of the institution.[4] Corduroy also revealed that Blueberry was related to Twigadamus, whose Japanese name is Puregu Lakeside.[5]
Nomenclature
Her name comes from blueberry, a sweet and sour fruit commonly used to make jams and juices.
