Hit points,[a] abbreviated as HP, are a statistic in the Magical Vacation series. It determines how much damage party members can take in battle, because when it hits 0, that character faints. HP can be recovered by eating gummy frogs, drinking from HP Pots, or sleeping at inns. Special effects such as heal are also used to restore HP in small amounts.
Trivia
- When Miss Madeleine explains HP to the protagonist at Valencia Beach, she says 「ＨＰって言うのは........有名なファンタジー小説のタイトルなんかじゃないぞ～。 ("HP can be described as...well, not the title of some famous fantasy novel~"), in reference to the Harry Potter novel series.
