Contents
World Guide
World Guide (pg. 2-9) introduces the cast and universe of Magical Vacation. It also covers the major characters and species that live on each of the four planes, and describes the planes' unique attributes.
Monster and Item Encyclopedia
Monster and Item Encyclopedia (pg. 13-122) contains full artwork of the enemies and items, organized by spirit and item type. They are presented with small descriptions that provide extra lore, history, and other traits that are not mentioned in the game.
System Guide
System Guide (pg. 123-210) explains the game's mechanics in depth. These include the basic controls, combat, spirits, magic dolls, and the various functions of Communication. After that is a section dedicated to all twenty-five party members, detailing their combat attributes, special powers, stat growth, and relationships with other characters.
Story Guide
Story Guide (pg. 211-431) is a full walkthrough of the main campaign, from Will-o'-Wisp Academy to the final boss fight at Moginasu Magic Grotto. Each area in this section has a map pointing out the locations of items, spirits, and important non-player characters.
Complete Guide

After that is a list of where to obtain entries for the magic notebook, bestiary, and MD dictionary, then a guide for magic dolls and the nine hidden party members. The last section of the book contains complete data on magic, items, and enemies.
Trivia

- At 576 pages, Magical Vacation Complete Guide is the series' biggest guidebook.
- When designing the book's cover, Shinichi Kameoka illustrated Balsamico lasciviously spying on Blueberry, Lemon, and Arancia in the hot spring. Since this was deemed too inappropriate, Balsamico was replaced by a treeman in the final version.
