Special powers[a] are abilities unique to party members in Magical Vacation, which are used outside of battle. Ganache, Chappy, Pucine the 4th, Dodo, Ricebird, Pooka, Gummy Frog, Bachelard, Brown, and magic dolls do not have special powers.

Protagonist[edit | edit source]

The protagonist is able to see spirits and befriend them.

Kirsche[edit | edit source]

When drinking from an MP Pot for the first time, Kirsche finds 2 yellow worms, but only if there are 20 or less on-hand.

Candy[edit | edit source]

Candy removes bomber pots without needing to sacrifice a green frog.

Cabernet[edit | edit source]

Cabernet prevents gummy frogs from being picked up outside of battle. He also animates immovable frogs.

Cider[edit | edit source]

Cider makes black-feathered ricebirds move by whistling a certain way.

Cassis[edit | edit source]

After a blade spirit is recruited, Cassis picks up all discarded gummy frogs.

Arancia[edit | edit source]

Arancia sometimes finds coins in monster chests.

Chocolat[edit | edit source]

When kicking a rock, Chocolat may find a yellow worm underneath.

Sesame[edit | edit source]

Sesame warns the party if a chest contains monsters instead of treasure.

Pistachio[edit | edit source]

When drinking from an HP Pot for the first time, Pistachio finds 3 gummy frogs, but only if there are less than 20 on-hand. The frogs' color is determined by the player's report card grade.

Olive[edit | edit source]

Olive picks up gummy worms from their holes without triggering battles.

Blueberry[edit | edit source]

Blueberry translates the Aquarim Language of the water people.

Lemon[edit | edit source]

Lemon swipes piranhas away if they try extorting bira from the party.

Latte[edit | edit source]

Latte helps motivate dwarves scattered around the world, which is needed to unlock Garam Masala.

Peche[edit | edit source]

After catching a gummy worm, Peche may find a coin.
