Special power[edit | edit source]

Peche's special power sometimes retrieves coins from gummy worm holes.

Profile[edit | edit source]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Peche is very positive, up-beat, and likes to keep things in order. She often is portrayed as the peacekeeper of the group, but has a hard time concentrating when under pressure. She also enjoys knitting in her free time. In the Japanese version, Peche has a habit of closing sentences with ですの desu no, and using the ちゃん -chan honorific when referring to her friends.[1]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Peche has four wings on her head and two on her back. Her hair is pink and protrudes into a pair of cone-like horns which are tipped with golden streamers. Her chest is covered with a red heart covering, and she wears puffy pink- and purple-striped pants. She has pink eyes, a long smile, and padded feet.[1]

Biography[edit | edit source]

Early life[edit | edit source]

Peche's parents originally came from Green Tea Village in the Light Realm, but frequently visited the Material Realm for research purposes. They decided to move to the Material Realm altogether shortly before Peche was born.

When walking to Will-o'-Wisp one day, Peche spotted a severely wounded grasshopper on the road, so she took it home and tried nursing it back to health. The grasshopper sadly passed away three hours later, and Peche cried uncontrollably for the rest of the day. Later that night, the grasshopper appeared to Peche in a dream, wherein it smiled and thanked her for her care. On another day, Peche was with Lemon and Blueberry. Lemon accidentally stepped on a cricket and feared Peche would get mad at her, so she put the cricket out of its misery. After Peche returned home, Lemon told Blueberry about the cricket, to which Blueberry laughed and admitted to squishing a praying mantis.

On the day of the Valencia Beach Seaside School, Peche frantically ran around the academy in search of her classmates. She ordered the protagonist to help her by rounding up the students in the music room. Furthermore, Peche told the protagonist their class would be boarding the magic bus, a special vehicle that was lent to the academy by King Geattsa. When driving to the beach soon thereafter, Peche was shocked to learn that Chocolat was hand-picked by Principal Biscotti to enroll in Will-o'-Wisp after noticing his magic potential.

Return to the Kingdom[edit | edit source]

Peche set up a fund to help dodos after graduating from Will-o'-Wisp, and used the donations to build a sanctuary to ensure their safety.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Her name comes from 'pêche', meaning 'peach' in French.
  • Her favorite food is strawberries.
  • At 15 kg, Peche is the most lightweight character of the party.
