Biography
Early life
Ginger was appointed the chief of Masalatea Village after their previous leader died while searching for the ice seed, the remedy for ooze fever, in Gela Windhole on Ice Island. Their two previous leaders were killed by the hailcrab, so Ginger made Gela Windhole off-limits to the villagers. However, when Mace's parents caught the ooze fever, Ginger refused to find an ice seed for them. To avoid taking responsibility, he started a rumor that Mace was a demon who cursed his parents with the disease, and had him exiled from Masalatea when they died. Feeling bad for Mace, Ginger's daughter Cinnamon paid him visits at his house on the village's outskirts, often without Ginger's knowledge.
