Wolks are a species in Magical Vacation. They are a tribe of anthropomorphic dogs who inhabit Masalatea Village on the Dark Plane.

Profile

While wolks as a whole have a generically canine physiognomy, many of their features look like those of domestic dogs, and there appears to be some racial variation within the population. They are said to be a conservative people who adhere to custom, are known for being stubborn, and do not like mingling with other species. Wolks communities are centered around leaders who possess absolute authority. Wolks originally come from a country on the Wood Plane, but those departed from that country settled and built colonies on various other planes. Among these colonies are Masalatea Village on the Dark Plane, and an unnamed village on the Material Plane where Pistachio was born.

Other appearances

In Brownies' EGGLIA series, there are characters of the wolks race named Jazoo, Dansa, Tango, and Salsa. They populate the land of Egglia and, much like their Magical Vacation counterparts, refuse to deviate from tradition. However, characters such as Dansa eventually learn to cooperate with other species to develop the player's town. As for Jazoo, he bears a lot of similarities to Pistachio, namely his brown fur and purple trousers he wears as a hat.
