Cocoa is a character in Magical Vacation. She and her brother Musk are felins from Tapioca Tea Village in the Dark Realm.

Profile

Personality

Cocoa tends to speak softly, but raises her voice when she is worried or alert. She is also very empathetic, putting others' feelings before her own, even in dire situations.

Appearance

Cocoa is beige-furred, hip-length green hair, and amber eyes. For clothing, she wears a blue bandeau top, and has her neck and arms adorned with gold bangles. The front of her shirt is covered by a purple cloth, which appears to be tied around her waist like an apron. She also wears a pair of brown shoes and leg warmers.

Biography

Magical Vacation

After coming down with a strange sickness, Musk began giving Cocoa medicinal blood orange. Cocoa somewhat resented the medicine's taste, feeling a sort of sadness in her heart, but Musk assured her she only had to consume it for a month. As the party entered their home, Musk gave Cocoa a memo on how to move sparrows outside Enigma Forest, suggesting the party look to Mace in Muy Mot Desert for help. The party followed Musk to Tapioca Tea's shop, and later the entrance to Ecir Thicket where he confronted Nectar.

Reaching Ecir Thicket's depths, the party met up with Nectar, who was surrounded by several dodos that were rescued across many realms. Suddenly, Sesame rushed in with Musk's pet fennel, ordering to assault Nectar's dodos. Sesame announced he was doing this in service of someone who saved his life, revealed to have been Musk. Cocoa then arrived and begged for the fennel to cease its attack. After the party put Musk's fennel down, Nectar checked on one of the injured dodos and proclaimed it was his brother put under an enigma's curse. Musk, who had also come to Ecir Thicket, explained Cocoa's sickness was actually the same curse, and that he was really feeding her dodo blood in order to mitigate its effect. Cocoa begged Musk to stop killing dodos for her sake, then showed parts of herself that were slowly undergoing dodo transformation. Since the curse was too late to be lifted, Cocoa accepted her fate, choosing to stay in Ecir Thicket for 1000 years until she returned to normal. In the meantime, she asked Nectar if his brother was attractive, but got flustered upon realizing she and the other dodos would all return to their regular forms unclothed.

Nomenclature

Her name comes from cocoa, a bean used to make foods like chocolate.
