Kumuyamuto Desert is a location in Magical Vacation. It is a vast desert on that makes up the southwestern region of the Dark Plane, connecting Tapiocatea Village with Zundoko Pit and Akvavit Castle. The desert is populated by amefurashi, which create spurts of rain when touched.

History
Kumuyamuto Desert was once a part of Rehikafu Swamp, until a group of water people emerged on the Dark Plane after enigmas attacked their home on the Water Plane. To protect themselves from the power of darkness, the water people gathered water from the swamps and rivers to construct Akvavit Castle, leaving the desert in its place. Consequently, dark forces began to spread across the Dark Plane.[1]
Nomenclature
Its name comes from トムヤムクン tomuyamukun (tom yum kung), a Thai hot and sour soup.
