Valencia Beach is a location in Magical Vacation. Located on the Material Plane, students from Will-o'-Wisp Academy are sent out to Valencia Beach every year with a teacher chaperone, and spend the summer training their magic abilities.

History
Over 900 years ago, a band of pirates lead by the sea king Vespucci landed on Valencia Beach and left treasure behind in the seaside cave. To keep the treasure's location a secret, Vespucci murdered his underlings and fled the cave, accidentally leaving behind a letter for his friend Gomez. Two centuries later, a group of adventurers stumbled upon the seaside cave and killed each other for the treasure. Their restless souls caused the planes of reality to distort, creating vortex that connected the Material Plane to the Light Plane.[1]
Trivia
- According to the Campgrounds world map and signboard near the cabins, the location's full name is Valencia Beach Resort - Ricebird Village & Spa. Also, the logo on the world map reads "Risebird Village & Spa", incorrectly anglicizing ricebird.
- Most of the time, the location is written as ヴァレンシア海岸 Varenshia Kaigan, while it is written as バレンシア海岸 Barenshia Kaigan in the bestiary.
- Anemeny's bestiary entry states that it used to be a regular sea anemone at Valencia Beach, until it was grown by an enigma's power and became able to use magic.
Nomenclature
Its name comes from Valencia, a port city in eastern Spain which distributes foods like rice, grapes, and oranges, among other marketable goods. It is also a Spanish name that means "strong".
