Melone is a character in Magical Vacation. He is a puppet from Oturan Village who travels the world working as a bira investor.
Gameplay
Melone first appears at the shop in Oturan Village in the Light Realm, where he asks the party to lend him 1000 bira. In doing so, he will continue to appear in shops across each realm as the game progresses, and increase the bira with each visit. By talking to Melone, the player has the option to take back the increased bira, or to let him keep it and move to the next shop. After progressing past certain points in the story, or taking back the bira at any point, Melone may stop showing up.
The last place Melone appears is May Village in the Abyssal Realm. If the player does not take the money back by then, Melone will return to Oturan Village and exclaim that he lost all his funds.
