Grenadine is a character in the Magical Vacation series. He is dwarf who leads a crew of dwarven engineers at Iko Domnag in the Light Realm, and later Condimen Tower on Razen.

Biography
Early life
Some time ago, Grenadine inherited the Iko Domnag factory from its previous manager White. During a certain war, he built the magic doll MD02-Bonito, whose power killed many soldiers. This distressed Grenadine so much that he withdrew Bonito from battle, leaving it with his brownie friend who lived in the Abyssal Realm's Pyramid.
Magical Vacation
After rescuing Latte from Tour de la Roche, Balsamico tasked the party with taking Latte to Iko Domnag. There, they would have Grenadine remodel Latte into a magic power generator, which could recharge the magic bus and allow it to warp across realms. They proceeded through Ufot Village and up Iko Domnag, taking down invading enigmas along the way. Reaching Grenadine's workshop, the party asked him to remodel Latte, to which Grenadine provided a long list of questions. Surely enough, Grenadine was convinced they were not enigmas trying to destroy the universe, but rather, wanted to save their classmates who were taken to the Dark Realm. To prove their strength, he challenged the party to fight his tartar terrier. After defeating tartar terrier, Grenadine remodeled Latte as promised, allowing the students to continue their adventure.

Trivia
- Grenadine's design may be based off Watts the dwarf's appearance in Legend of Mana.
- In the Japanese version of Magical Starsign, Sambal states that Grenadine has built several maid robots modeled after felins,[1] while he just refers to them as cleaning robots in the English localization.[2] Sambal also calls Grenadine childish because he cannot wash his hair without a shower hat,[3] but in English, he says Grenadine is a softy for bathing with a rubber ducky.[4]
Nomenclature
His name comes from grenadine, a tart red syrup used in cocktails.
