Space Police HQ is a location on in Magical Starsign. Based in Bena Rikashi, Puffoon, it is home to the Baklava solar system's Space Police force under the management of Chief Abalon Demar.

History
The Space Police HQ was founded long ago by the first ruler of Bena Rikashi, King Panna Cotta the Pretty Smart, and would serve as the Space Police's base of operations.[1] At some point, Knucklestorm took charge and was appointed the force's general. Knucklestorm grew worried after noticing Kale's influence over the force, enabled by the incompetent King Suspiro, which caused corruption to spread within. He ultimately abandoned the Space Police after his daughter, Brie Pourri, revealed that she joined the force. In Knucklestorm's absence, Abalon Demar became chief of the Space Police, working alongside his brother and superintendent Gil Mudflap, deputy chief Mugwort, top martial arts advisor Biek Fowler, and inspector Brie Pourri.
Magical Starsign
As the students of Will-o'-Wisp Academy went to search for Miss Madeleine, Chai boarded a rocket that flew him to Puffoon, docking at the Bena Rikashi Spaceport. He was found by Bossa the felin, who noticed he was a rare magic-using salamander and attempted to illegally smuggle him out of Puffoon, but was caught by the Space Police. Once his classmates arrived in Bena Rikashi, Chai evaded the officers by hiding in the HQ's bathroom. Meanwhile, the protagonist and the others talked to each department in hopes of filing Miss Madeleine as a missing person, but were turned down at every reception desk. Even after retrieving toilet paper for Lt. Mugwort, who assumed Abalon Demar's position for one day, he rejected their pleas. Later on, Chai fled the HQ building with a document listing Biek Fowler's arrests.
Chai and the protagonist's team met up in Honey Mint, discovering Miss Madeleine's name on the stolen documents. However, their reunion was cut short when Lt. Mugwort flew in with Brie Pourri, who brought Chai back to the HQ building and locked him in a chest. The team quickly obtained a tempus forget, using it in the Space Police HQ to befuddle the officers. With the chief's office unguarded, they hurried in and saved Chai from captivity.
Trivia
- On the first floor, Brioche and Cantaloupe state they are racking up points in a "barrel-rotating game" hosted by the Space Police.
- In Japanese, it is called the "washbasin pass-around game" (タライマワサレゲーム tarai mawasare gēmu). This is attributed to the expression 盥回し tarai mawashi (lit. "pass the washbasin around"), which refers to a department handing off problems to another department in order to evade responsibility.
- While Brioche is playing the "barrel-rotating game," he keeps track of how many times the party talks to the SP receptionists, and always claims to have ten more points. This value caps at 255.
