Mysterious chests are a mechanic in Magical Starsign.
Gameplay
Mysterious chests are like regular item chests, but will only appear while a planet is in its phase on the astrolog. If the player is in an area where a mysterious chest is found, and a planet enters its phase, the player must exit and re-enter the area for the chest to appear.
The designs of mysterious chests are unique to each planet. These are a gray jar for Erd, a purple clam shell for Cassia, a pink puff of clouds for Puffoon, a giant walnut for Gren, a red jewel container for Razen, a goblet of light for Nova, and a goblet of darkness for Shadra.
Trivia
- Although there are sprites for Gren-style mysterious chests, none can actually be found on Gren.
