Puffoon, known in Japan as Cotton,[a] is the planet of wind in Magical Starsign, orbiting the third-furthest ring of the Baklava solar system. Ruled by King Suspiro, it is home to the wealthiest city in the galaxy. Each segment of the planet is united by a giant plant called the Tree of Souls.

When Puffoon enters its field of alignment, users of wind magic will enter an aura state. It takes Puffoon 1 hour and 10 minutes to make a full revolution around the sun, and it stays in its field of alignment for 14 minutes.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Its name may come from 'puff' and 'balloon', both of which are wind-related concepts.
  • Its Japanese name, Cotton, comes from the 'cotton' fiber. It also comes from トンコツ 'tonkotsu', ramen with pork bone.
