Aura
Aura is a mechanic in Magical Starsign.
Gameplay
On the top screen, the player is able to view the Baklava solar system's astrolog (うんこうずunkōzu revolution map), a map of the five planets and their current positions. This map is split into five colored regions of light called "phases" (属星エリアzokusei eria starsign area), each representing a planet and its affiliated starsign. When a planet enters its phase, all party members and enemies with that planet's starsign awaken their aura state. While a character's aura is active, the damage output and healing potency of magic will be doubled.
Revolutions
Erd (earth), Cassia (water), Puffoon (wind), Gren (wood), and Razen (fire) move clockwise along orbital rings. Normally, the planets move in real time, but they can be manually repositioned via the spell celestial swap. This spell allows the player and enemies to direct planets clockwise along their respective rings, consuming magic points in the process. The egg character Star has a similar ability called stargaze, which consumes hit points instead.
As for Nova (light) and Shadra (dark), represented by the sun at the Baklava system's center, they swap positions every three minutes. Unlike the other planets, Nova and Shadra are not affected by celestial swap or stargaze.
