Great Dragon Road is a location on Cassia in Magical Starsign. It is a shrine built long ago in the likeness of the fabled Dragon God, but has become a hideout for Chard's astro pirates.
In Great Dragon Road, the party is tasked with walking straight east, interspersed with fights against various classes of pirate otters. Unique to this area are three types of enemies called ice chunk, which when healed by hearty dog's love shower, may thaw into either a sniffles, funguroach, or mossling.

In ancient times, the otters of Cassia coexisted alongside the Dragon God (竜神様 Ryūjin-sama), a legendary beast with the power to cause intense tidal waves and make undersea volcanoes erupt. While the Dragon God and otters lived peacefully together for a time, the fire otter's brother was taken by the beast and dragged into the deep waters. The fire otter spent three days and nights fighting the Dragon God, but managed to win and made a grave site for his brother afterwards. The Great Dragon Road was constructed near Dragon Beach to commemorate the Dragon God,[1] and also served as an altar where gummy frogs were sacrificed to tame the ocean.[2]

- ↑ Gene: "Long ago, a great dragon roamed this planet. When it was angered, huge tidal waves ravaged the world. Sometimes it raked underwater volcanoes with its great claws, making them erupt. Even so, the dragon and the otters coexisted peacefully…for a time. One day, a young otter was fishing near the ocean. He thought he had snagged his line on something, and after reeling in his line, he saw the dragon before him. The dragon pulled the poor, terrified otter under the waves, and he was never seen again. That unfortunate soul was the fire otter's brother. The fire otter was determined to avenge his brother's watery demise. He hunted and fought the dragon bitterly for three days and three nights. In the end, the fire otter stood amidst the waves as the victor. On his way back home, the fire otter made a small grave site for his brother. There, he also built a shrine in the name of the mighty fallen dragon."
- ↑ Fondue: "This shrine was originally built to calm the violent seas. Up ahead, there is even an altar for sacrifices (nothing but the finest gummy frogs would do!) to appease the waters. Over time, the tradition faded away. Now, this place is just a hideout for pretend pirates."
