Fondue,[a] also known as Lamp[b] in Japan, is an egg character in Magical Starsign. They are a lamp whose affinity is fire magic and specialty stat is intelligence.

Gameplay

Fondue's starsign is fire, receiving aura when Razen is in alignment. Their unique skill reveal shows the level, maximum hit points, and current hit points of an enemy. Outside of battle, Fondue provides trivia whenever the party enters an area.[1]

Acquisition

Having one of the five main starsigns, Fondue's egg may appear when Tag Mode is used to interact with other players, and around five subsequent tags are needed for the egg to hatch. It is possible for Fondue to appear in one the following eggs:

  • 1 amigo = 1st egg (one of the five main starsigns)
  • 15 amigos = 2nd egg (one of the five main starsigns)
  • 30 amigos = 3rd egg (one of the five main starsigns)
  • 60 amigos = 4th egg (one of the five main starsigns)

Alternatively, Fondue's egg may appear when Gamelan is talked to after Nova becomes accessible.[1]

Personality

Fondue is charming and well informed. They know virtually everything about the Baklava solar system's history, from its creation in the big bang to present time.[1]

Appearance

Like most lamps, Fondue is a brown oil lamp with tribal markings around their face, red eyes, a stuck-out tongue, gray gloves, and gray boots.[1]
