Shadra is a location in Magical Starsign. It is the planet of the dark starsign, existing inside sun of the Baklava solar system. Shadra shares the same physical space as the light planet Nova, but in another dimension that connects to Nova through the Starway. Completely devoid of civilization, it is the dwelling and namesake of Shadra, a giant larva prophesized to devour the sun and rebirth the universe.

When Shadra emerges at night, users of the dark starsign will enter their aura state. Shadra and Nova switch places every 3 minutes.

Hundreds of millions of years ago, Shadra was a planet that orbited the Baklava solar system. It suddenly experienced a peak in magical energy, transforming it into a new sun that was absorbed by the original sun containing Nova.[1] Both suns shared the same physical space in parallel dimensions, bridged by the Starway, Phunnel Pit, and Glissini Caves that were spontaneously created during the merge. There also used to be a rift at the very bottom of Glissini Caves, but it was sealed shut due an obstruction of mass and plasma.[2]
Trivia
- According to Fondue, trees and grass cannot grow on Shadra because its land mass has no plasma composition, thus making it a neutron star.[3]
- Shadra is the only planet without a settlement or civilization. Although enigmas are encountered on this planet, they are shown being brought to the sun beforehand by Kale via the Stone Stage.
- Aside from Kovomaka, it is the only planet that Neumann cannot fly to.

Its name may come from shade, referring to its association with darkness. Alternatively, it could come from चन्द्र chandra, the Sanskrit word for "moon".
