The Starway is a location on Nova in Magical Starsign. It lies beneath Sparklin Palace, comprising the dimensional gap that separates Nova and Shadra.[1] The Starway activates when the Baklava solar system's planets are in perfect alignment with the sun, and when the seven seals in Sparklin Palace's basement have been broken.

History
Hundreds of millions of years ago, after a new sun formed around the neutron star Shadra, it was absorbed into Nova's sun and overlapped it in another dimensional space. The Starway, Glissini Caves, and Phunnel Pit were spontaneously created from the two suns' merge, allowing for passage between the two planets.[2] A collision of plasma and matter eventually sealed the dimensional rift beneath Glissini Caves,[3] leaving only Phunnel Pit and the Starway to bridge the dimensions.
Magical Starsign
Since Kale and the astro pirates had blown up the stairway to Shadra in Phunnel Pit, the party had to consult the queen of light's luminites in Sparklin Palace. From there, they broke the palace's seven seals, to which the planets of the Baklava system aligned themselves with the sun and powered up the Starway. Just as they were about to enter, Biek Fowler dived in and challenged them to a battle, but he lost and flew away. Grenadine joined the students at the Starway's teleportation platform, accidentally dislocating a mechanism mid-activation. Fowler then showed up and proclaimed his devotion to Kale's plans, threatening to end the students' journey by thrusting them into the fault in dimensions.[4] However, he was interrupted when Farina, accompanied by Durum and Apitos, cast a spell on him.
As Grenadine continued repairing, Mokka detected a dimensional bomb within Fowler's glider, so Durum picked him up and hurried out of the Starway. The students attempted to intervene, but Grenadine exclaimed that stepping off the platform would split their bodies in the dimensional gap. Forced to stay put at the teleporter, the students heard Fowler's bomb detonate as they were warped into Shadra's dimension. After saving the Baklava system, they returned to the Starway and saw Durum, who survived the explosion, with Farina, Apitos, and Grenadine.
Nomenclature
Its name is a combination of star and stairway.
