Bena Rikashi, also known as Bena Rikashi City, is a location on Puffoon in Magical Starsign. Ruled by King Suspiro, it is the largest and most technologically-advanced metropolis in the whole Baklava solar system. The city is also where the Space Police Headquarters is located.

History
Bena Rikashi was founded thousands of years ago by its first ruler, King Panna Cotta the Pretty Smart, who believed the foundation of a constitutional government was but one step in the long-term evolution of humanity.[1] The city was also responsible for developing the Baklava system's first-ever spaceport, as its people foresaw the age of interplanetary travel. However, once time began to catch up with these advancements, Bena Rikashi slowly began losing its novelty.[2]
Ten years before Magical Starsign, King Suspiro was met by Kale, a magician from Kovomaka and a graduate of Will-o'-Wisp Academy. Seeing as Kale had immense public appeal and political knowledge, he was given his own place in the royal palace, as well as a laboratory on the city's outskirts. However, citizens feared their traditions would be lost, and were envious of Kale's rise to power. Their continued harassment nearly got Kale expelled from the palace, until one day, Suspiro noticed a change in his demeanor. Kale had studied the Book of the Darned at Ambergris Preparatory School on Cassia, learning that the sun would soon perish and destroy the universe. With more sinister goals in mind, he planned to eliminate the incompetent people of Baklava by accelerating the apocalypse. He commenced his crusade by joining forces with Biek Fowler, the fighting instructor of the city's Space Police department. Powerless in his own nation, Suspiro could only stand by as Kale, the Space Police, and eventually Chard's astro pirates abducted magicians across the galaxy.
Trivia
- Located inside the rightmost door of the bottom right building in the main city, a resident named Ceramic will challenge the player to a quiz over status ailments. Upon winning, he gives 10,000 bira.
Nomenclature
Its name comes from 石狩鍋 ishikari-nabe, a type of miso soup made with salmon and vegetables originating in Ishikari, Hokkaidō, Japan.
