The Land Where the Stars Sleep is a location on Erd in Magical Starsign. It is a cavern found along the cliffs of Wandering Hills containing an inactive power mechanism.
History[edit | edit source]
The Land Where the Stars Sleep was shaped by a brownie, who created it by piling three mountains on top of each other.[1]
During the Espresso civilization's occupation of Erd, they built an elaborate wind-powered generator inside the land along Wandering Hills. The generator's windmill was used to extract the near-limitless[2] solar energy from the planet[3] and carry it through a pipe to the Kahve Ruins, which was powered by a closed-energy loop for maximum efficiency. Following the Espressos' annihilation at the hands of their robots, the machinery in the Land Where the Stars Sleep laid dormant for several thousands of years.
Magical Starsign[edit | edit source]
After helping the spiny moles of Peatmoss by defeating the ant queen, the protagonist and Lassi found themselves at Wandering Hills. With both ends of the mountain path blocked off by mechanical gates, they had no choice but to enter The Land Where the Stars Sleep. Inside, the duo followed a long pipe that stretched far into the cave. The furthest area contained a control panel, power generator, and a large windmill. Lassi wondered why someone would build a windmill in a place without wind, but quickly realized she could power it herself. With her wild magic, Lassi was able to get the windmill spinning and energized all the nearby machinery. The turbines sent power through the underground pipe and up to Kahve Ruins, unlocking all the sealed doors within.
