Brownies are a species in the Magical Vacation series, and other games associated with Brownie Brown and Brownies. Legend says they created the universe, though other theories suggest it spawned from the big bang.

Profile

Younger brownies, as seen in EGGLIA, wear big russet hats, curl-toed shoes, and have pointy ears and noses. Older brownies wear tattered clothes, speak in a heavy informal dialect, and live hermitic lifestyles. Despite being the supposed creators of the universe, brownies do not have a strong work ethic, believing excessive labor turns them into dwarves. On occasion, they fall so deep into slumber that their souls slip out of their bodies. Common pastimes for brownies include fishing and quarrying jewels.

In the Magical Vacation universe, brownies are typically named after pizza toppings. Others are named after various shades of brown, though this convention is more prevalent in the EGGLIA and Mana universes (e.g., Brown, Sepia, Ol' Russet).
