Holy Tree Yggsalad is a location in Magical Starsign. It is a prominent tree on Gren that used to belong to a tribe of salamanders, but the astro pirates drove them out five years ago, and it is currently used as a hideout within the walled town of Assam. The wood millennium gummy is said to be formed in the tree's nursery.

Yggsalad used the home of Gren's salamanders, who protected the wood millennium gummy in the Holy Tree Nursery. Five years ago, pirate otters working for Chard assumed control of the area and constructed Assam, forcing the salamanders to relocate to the Salamander Cave. They already had a strenuous relationship with the felins of Tropica Village, accusing them of draining Gren's energy by cutting trees to build homes, and predicted that divine punishment awaited all of Gren's transgressors.[1] As the tree's power weakened, it absorbed the gummy and blossomed an anthropophagus flower, which could digest living things and convert their energy into a new gummy.
Trivia
- In the Japanese commercial for Magical Starsign, the phrase "a flower that digests people and uses them as nourishment" (人を溶かし栄養にする花) is written on a chalkboard, referring to anthropophagus flower inside Yggsalad.[2]
