History
Yggsalad was the home of Gren's salamanders, who protected the wood millennium gummy in the Holy Tree Nursery (若木さまの部屋Wagaki-sama no Heya Great Sapling's Chamber). Five years ago, pirate otters working for Chard assumed control of the area and constructed Port Assam, forcing the salamanders to relocate to the Salamander Cave. They already had a strenuous relationship with the felins of Tropica Village, accusing them of draining Gren's energy by cutting trees to build homes, and predicted that divine punishment awaited all of Gren's transgressors.[1] As the tree's power weakened, it absorbed the gummy and blossomed an anthropophagus flower, which could digest living things and convert their energy into a new gummy.
