Biography

Magical Starsign

When the protagonist and Lassi landed Neumann on frozen Cassia, Dumpy Dave hurried into Great Dragon Road to alert Chard. He exclaimed that it did not appear to be a Space Police vessel, to which Chard said they had no reason to worry.

Once the students made it to the astro pirates' base the end of Great Dragon Road, now with Mokka in the party, they watched Dumpy Dave, Keelhaulin' Kurt, and Craaaaaazy Chris operate the machine that froze Cassia over. Dave stated that no one would be roused by their antics, since the story of the fire otter was make-believe. The three discussed plans to wreak havoc on other planets, but noticed the party standing behind them, promptly charging into battle. After the fight, Chard leaped down and fought the group, but ultimately lost. Caldarroste then entered the base, proclaiming to have lured the party into Great Dragon Road in order to prove his worth to the pirates. However, Chard ordered his crew to overload the freezing machine and evacuate Cassia. Before he left, Caldarroste asked to be promoted in Chard's ranks, but was denied and mocked by Dave, Kurt, and Chris, who all fled to their pirate ship.
