Doro is a character in the Magical Vacation series. He is a dwarf who, in Magical Vacation, appears at Rehikafu Swamp Edge in the Dark Plane, while in Magical Starsign, he can be found at Jalapeño Wastelands on Razen.

Biography

Early life

Doro used to live in Gearava Village in the Light Plane, where he worked under Grenadine as a magic doll craftsman at Condimen Tower. A few years ago, he accidentally shifted into the Dark Plane, but gathered the right materials to construct MD04-FLOUNDER. Doro designed MD04-FLOUNDER to be strong in power, acting as a cover for magicians who were bad at magic. While running tests on the magic doll, who struggled to function properly, Doro received word from Condimen Tower that MD production was terminated.

Magical Vacation

Shortly after arriving in the Dark Plane, the protagonist, Café au Lait, and one of their classmates noticed MD04-FLOUNDER lying face-down on the ground. Café au Lait, being a machine, reactivated the MD with a kick, to which it joined their team. They also found Doro nearby, who explained his predicament and allowed them to keep MD04-FLOUNDER.

Magical Starsign

The party could meet Doro near the entrance to Capsicum Caverns on Razen. He warned them against entering, fearful that they would surely die, and also exclaimed that potfolk had gone inside.

His name comes from どろ doro, a sauce produced by the Japanese seasoning company Oliver Sauce. It is a viscous sediment that naturally forms at the bottom of Worcestershire sauce as it ages, hence the name どろ doro, meaning "mud."
