Dwarves are a species in the Magical Vacation series. In Magical Vacation, they live in Ufot Village in the Light Realm, while in Magical Starsign, they live in Port Pescato on Cassia and Macaroon on Razen.
Profile
Dwarves are small men who are around 122 centimeters (48 inches) tall on average. Their stout bodies are entirely covered in thick blue hair, save for their eyes, nose, arms, and feet. For clothing, they typically wear beige hard hats affixed with horns, gold bracelets, and gray shoes partially wrapped in bandages. Dwarves speak in a very rugged dialect, which is more apparent in their Japanese dialogue.
Culturally, dwarves are considered the greatest mechanics in the whole universe, incorporating philosophy and technology alike in their inventions. However, they are also very cliquish and elitist, excluding humans and even other dwarves from their society if they do not align with certain beliefs or commit taboo. For example, dwarves who manufacture magic dolls are considered inferior to the "elite" dwarves of Iko Domnag; this is in part due to the dwarves' history with magic doll construction.
Dwarves' names mainly come from sauces, fruits, and various snacks.

Trivia
- In the December 2001 issue of Nintendo Dream, a section dedicated to Magical Vacation features screenshots of dwarves with ginger beards, whereas they are blue in the final game. It is possible that this design was repurposed for Watts the Dwarf as he appears in Sword of Mana.
