Shyclone, known in Japan as galangal, is an enemy found in the Couscous Ruins on Puffoon in Magical Starsign.

Profile

Shyclones are skeletons wielding large scythes. Their bodies float atop a small tornado.

Gameplay

Shyclones have the wind starsign, gaining aura when Puffoon is in alignment. They possess the spell wind talon, dealing damage to every member of the party. They also possess the neutral spell celestial swap, allowing them to manipulate the alignment of planets to their advantage. In addition, they can perform the physical skill soul hunter, which deals damage to every party member in the front row.

Descriptions

While the tornado it rides looks quite menacing, it also serves to hide this monster from the world. The poor thing suffers from an incredible shyness.

Trivia

• Its Japanese name comes from 'galangal', the underground stem of ginger plants which is commonly eaten in Southeast Asian regions.
• Shyclone also appears in Magical Vacation, referred to as galangale in the English fan translation.
