Vermicelli is a character in the lore of Magical Starsign. His life is told in the putty song.
History
In the ancient past, Vermicelli was born among the people of wood,[a] life forms created after the people of water conjured a tempest that swept the world. The wood people were imbued with all of the power, declaring themselves the first true "people" as they gazed ambitiously at the starry sky. They sang praises of each other that shook the entire planet, and Vermicelli declared himself king.
Vermicelli soared between planets and arrived at the sun, where he met the queen of light who created the world. The queen joined Vermicelli in song, but he felt ashamed of his heavy body and stagnant voice, fleeing to a cave where he sang the song of the beginning to himself. As time passed, Vermicelli could sense his own death, turning his melody into a song of the end that embodied the fear of death, and unleashing monsters upon the world. His singing sparked calamity across the Baklava solar system, but the people quelled their fear of death by uniting the light of the five planets. This light produced Kovomaka, and to hide it from the warring planets, the queen of light created life on Kovomaka before sending it to the far reaches of space.
In the end times, the queen of light and Vermicelli would sing the songs of the end and the beginning respectively. Everything in the universe would become one, birthing light from darkness and darkness from light.
Nomenclature
His name comes from vermicelli, pasta akin to spaghetti, but with thinner noodles.
