Piranhas are a species in the Magical Vacation series. They are land-dwelling fish who populate Benakoncha Ruins on the Light Plane; Gela Windhole, Enigma Forest, and East Forest, and Kisunika Mines on the Dark Plane; and Moginasu Magic Grotto on the Death Plane.
Profile
Based of real life piranhas, they are fish with purple eyes, gray scales with an orange streak under their mouths, red lips, and sharp teeth. Their gills contain gold and silver coins, which they may drop when given enough bira.
Gameplay
Even though piranhas appear in each plane, their gameplay mechanics work exactly the same. When the player walks into piranhas, they will hassle the party for bira. They drop coins when enough bira is given, and this value is shared amongst all piranhas in the game.
It will start by asking for 10 bira, but refusing to pay will raise the price to 20, then 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, and eventually 10000. If at least 300 bira is paid, the piranha will drop a coin, and this value will carry over to any subsequent interactions with piranhas. Lemon can use her special power to remove piranhas before they demand bira.
