Totem bomb is a boss in Magical Starsign. It is a robot produced by the astro pirates, serving to hinder passage in Carbonara Jungle near the Salamander Cave.
Profile
Totem bomb is a pair of large ornate totem poles composed of individual explosive segments. Each can detach from the main structure to explode in combat.
Gameplay
The intended way to defeat totem bomb is to use physical attacks to remove individual segments of the pole. The totem bomb will use self destruct to send one of its segments down to a party member.

History
Magical Starsign
To prevent magicians from sneaking into Assam, the astro pirates constructed the totem bomb in Carbonara Jungle. This happened to be right in front of the entrance to the Salamander Cave, preventing the native salamanders from freely traveling in the jungle.
While following Pico on the way to Assam after finding him unconscious in Carbonara Jungle, the party was stopped in their tracks when they encountered the totem bomb. After knocking it down, they were able to move forward again. Buillon, a salamander who was also blocked by the totem bomb, thanked the group for assisting him.
