Three sergeants are fought as a miniboss before entering the Holy Water Pyramid on Cassia, and again before entering its top floor. Despite having light affinity, they do not possess any spells. Sergeants will often act synchronously in opposition to the actions of the party using their defensive skills. If the last action of the party was an offensive spell, they can use magic guard to defend against further magic attacks, assuming they do not already have their shield raised. If the last action were instead a physical skill, they could use technique guard to lower their shield in defense of further physical attacks, assuming it is not already lowered. In any situation that does not cause them to use either of those two skills, they will use their only attack, charge, to deal damage to a single member of the party. They have increased resistance against physical attacks.

This Space Police squad specializes in charging blindly into battle. More often than not, this results in what they playfully call "friendly head trauma."
