Elder beetles are green beetles with a purple shell on their back. They have a large front-facing horn, and a white beard. For performing magic, they carry a staff topped with a blinking light.[1]
Enemy
Elder beetles have wood affinity, gaining an aura when Gren is in alignment. They do not possess any physical skills, and are always present in the back row of another enemy. They will normally use minty freshness to provide defense and spirit buffs to the rest of the enemies in a battle. They can also use briar patch to deal damage to all members of the party.[1][2]
