Chicks are a species in Magical Starsign. They seem to inhabit Puffoon.

Profile

Chicks are small birdlings with yellow feathers, plump bodies, and orange beaks. They wear broken egg shells as garments, which are held up by blue suspenders. In Japanese, they tend to end sentences with a "chirp chirp" (ピーヨピヨ, pīyopiyo).

Trivia

• Only one non-player character of the chick race appears in the game, found outside the Couscous Ruins on Puffoon. It is known as "Passerby Chick" (通りすがりのひよこ, Tōrisugari no Hiyoko) in Japanese, and just "Chick" in the English localization.
  • In the game's files, there is data for non-player characters named "Abducted Magician Chick" (さらわれた魔法使いヒヨコ, Sarawareta Mahōtsukai Hiyoko), much like the lamps on Razen, but they have no dialogue.
• It has been speculated that Biek Fowler may belong to this species, since he is the only avian character in the game aside from Nogg.
