Sarcophaghoul, known in Japan as mystery coffin, is an enemy found in the Capsicum Caverns on Razen in Magical Starsign.

Profile

Sarcophaghouls are possessed coffins with red eyes and ghostly extended limbs. Their attached covers appear as mouths.

Gameplay

Sarcophaghouls possess earth affinity, gaining aura when Erd is in alignment. They are capable of gravel pounder, dealing damage to up to three members of the party. They also have the physical skill summon bats, which significantly damages all party members. They have increased resistance to magic attacks.
