Khao Yam is a character in Uchū no Kishi. He works for Kovomaka Kingdom as the royal advisor mage of King Geasshigaou Ōden.
Profile
Khao Yam is a wise elderly man who speaks very little, but seems familiar with the prophecy of the Sheep and enigma fusion.
He has long, curly green hair which conceals most of his face, baggy eyes and a pointed nose. For clothing, he wears a brown cone-shaped hat with a yellow brim, and a baggy brown cloak.
Biography
Uchū no Kishi
The morning after a meteorite crashed in Eldile Plains, the Elite Force Magic Knights and White Hawk Magic Knights were deployed, identifying it as a destructive life form known as the Sheep. However, the Sheep awoke and destroyed most of the group. Three magicians returned to Kovomaka Castle, reporting to King Geasshigaou Ōden that the Sheep killed Vanilla Nighthawk and the other knights. Once the magicians were dismissed, Khao reminded King Ōden how they specifically deployed Vanilla because she fused with an enigma in the past, which gave her incredible power. If the Sheep really did kill her, there was likely no other magician in Kovomaka Kingdom who could take it down. Just then, Miss Madeleine of Will-o'-Wisp Academy entered the king's chamber.

His name comes from ข้าวยำ khao yam, blue-colored rice eaten with dried meat and salad originating from Thailand.
