Kovopedia:Naming Policy
The Naming Policy is the standard by which pages are named according to, and is made explicitly for organization purposes. Generally, mainspace pages are named according to their spelling and conventions within the media they are adapted from, however, some exceptions exist for software and logistical reasons. Anything said of pages in this policy should generally be taken to apply to section headers as well.

General conventions
- Page names always begin with a capital letter: Whether desired or not, pages must always start with a capital letter, even in the obscure case where that may not be the case in-media. This is a requirement of MediaWiki. This can be worked around by having a DISPLAYTITLE tag at the top of the page to correct the title.
- Underscores and spaces are the same thing: Underscores are recognized in URLs as being spaces by MediaWiki, and so they typically cannot be used in page names.
- Titles should be capitalized: As is standard procedure in article naming, the first word of a page's title should be capitalized. Any proper nouns in a title should also be capitalized. The word at the beginning of a title is required to be capitalized by the software.
- Titles do not start with "The": In only very rare circumstances will a page name start with "The". Articles will not start with the word unless they are of in-universe media.
Pages with the same name
If one page has the same name as another page (say, for instance, Protagonist and Protagonist), each page will be given a parenthesis descriptor that will be covered up using piped links. A page without parenthesis will then be created which will serve as a disambiguation page for all instances of said name (in the previous example, Protagonist).
Sub-pages
Sub-pages are pages placed within another page's URL in order to keep it grouped together as being related. Subpages are reserved for namespaces outside of the mainspace. They should never be created in the mainspace, as they can flood search results.
