Kovopedia:Administrators
Administrators, or admins, are the team responsible for website operation and management, content creation supervision, and ensuring the safety of the user community on Kovopedia. Wiki staff members are responsible for moderation, editing content to comply with guidelines, providing guidance to the community, and answering questions.

Staff abilities

These additional functions include:
- Deleting and restoring pages, page histories, and uploaded files.
- Moving pages and files to different titles.
- Protecting a page so it cannot be edited or renamed by users without administrator rights or autoconfirmed status.
- Reverting edits and file changes as needed.
- Blocking site editing and account creation from specific users or IP addresses.
- Administrators can also edit MediaWiki system pages, such as CSS pages.
- Bureaucrats can also promote site users to administrator status on the wiki.
If you need assistance from a moderator or administrator, such as requesting the deletion of a specific page or suggesting edits to a protected page, you can contact the staff listed below. Do note that some requests, such as deleting or moving content pages, may require community input before being fulfilled. In such cases, we recommend starting a discussion on the respective article's talk page rather than contacting staff directly.

Becoming an administrator
You must be promoted by a user with bureaucratic privileges in order to become an administrator or bureaucrat. Generally, you should not apply for promotion unless you are truly confident that you are qualified for the position. To be promoted to any position on Kovopedia, you need at least 1000 edits; more edits are preferable. You can start a vote on the Community Portal.
