Magical Vacation / Starsign is the largest English Discord server for fans of the Magical Vacation series. It is Kovopedia's affiliated Discord server.
History
The server was created on October 7, 2020 by Discord user Custard, also known as MagicalStarsignFan.[1][2] Custard invited many of their online friends, including Maz, also known as Skakdiamc, who became an administrator the following day.[3]
After joining the server on June 22, 2021,[4] user LifeMushroom promoted it on the r/magicalstarsign subreddit community five days later.[5]
User DangerBoatSouth became a server administrator on November 1, 2021.[6]
On November 9, 2022, Magical Vacation / Starsign was fused with the prior Kovopedia Discord server at the suggestion of the site's founder, Rman41.[7] He later became an administrator of the server on March 19, 2023.[8]
On October 23, 2024, DangerBoatSouth's administrator privileges were revoked following the creation of a document summarizing concerns and accusations from server members regarding his inappropriate behavior, both on the server and in his online content.[9] After he also admitted to commissioning obscene artwork depicting underage characters, it was unanimously decided to expel him completely. Custard subsequently resigned from their position as administrator on October 26 following criticism for mismanagement. Ownership of the server was transferred to Rman41, who rebuilt it with new channels that were easier to use and navigate.[10]
