Tom Yam,[a] also known as Ginger[b] in Japan, is an egg character of the radish race in Magical Starsign. He is a user of wood magic who specializes in agility.
Gameplay
Tom Yam's starsign is wood, receiving aura when Gren is in alignment. His unique skill ginger puff applies hearty on one ally, which nullifies all negative status effects. Outside of battle, Tom Yam can find items by talking to other radishes.[1]

Acquisition
Having one of the five main starsigns, Tom Yam's egg may appear when Tag Mode is used to interact with other players, and around five subsequent tags are needed for the egg to hatch. It is possible for Tom Yam to appear in one the following eggs:
- 1 amigo = 1st egg (one of the five main starsigns)
- 15 amigos = 2nd egg (one of the five main starsigns)
- 30 amigos = 3rd egg (one of the five main starsigns)
- 60 amigos = 4th egg (one of the five main starsigns)
Alternatively, Tom Yam's egg may appear when Gamelan is talked to after Nova becomes accessible.[1]

Appearance
Like other male radishes, Tom Yam has a bulbous white body with stubby arms.[1]
