Plot[edit | edit source]

After Miss Madeleine dismisses her class for the day, Kirsche and Sesame talk about their upcoming trip to Valencia Beach. Kirsche declares that spending the summer there will help him become a real man, and Sesame asks if that means he will ask Arancia to be his girlfriend. Kirsche bats Sesame over the head, saying his love for Arancia was only a fantasy from their childhood. Just then, Arancia walks up to the boys with Pistachio and asks Kirsche if he wants to go shopping, but he rudely replies by telling Pistachio to be her pack mule instead. Blueberry and Lemon overhear the conversation, so they decide to join in. Lemon pokes fun at Kirsche's irritability and how it may affect his relationships, to which Kirsche argues that there are no boys who are interested in her. Lemon and Blueberry are shocked by the rudeness of Kirsche's comment, so the former electrocutes him. Both girls leave Kirsche laying fried on the ground.

Cassis and Cider arrive shortly after, both of whom Kirsche dislikes. Cider improvises a poem about the relationship between Kirsche and Arancia, but Cassis abruptly barges in when he hears that Arancia is single. When he and Cider leave, Sesame wonders if his friend is okay with people swooning over Arancia. Kirsche could care less, telling Sesame that it means less people will be focused on his real crush, Candy. Sesame recalls an instance where Candy said she was in love with another boy, making Kirsche incredibly furious. Desperate for answers, the boys try to figure out who Candy's love interest is, their first omissions being Chocolat and Latte. Sesame suggest they consult Olive, who supposedly has the power to understand people by simply looking at them. Coincidentally, Olive passes by and Kirsche asks if they can talk for a second. Olive analyzes her classmate, then answers his unspoken question by saying he should talk to Candy himself.

The next student they encounter is Cabernet, who tells the boys to be prepared for the Seaside School vacation. Kirsche grabs Cabernet and accuses him of being Candy's mystery crush, but Cabernet is completely unaware of what is going on. Realizing that his emotions got the better of him, Kirsche lets Cabernet go. He begins to panic, believing he will not be able to focus at camp if all he can think about is Candy's secret crush. Suddenly, Candy and Peche come to visit the boys, and Candy's presence is enough to reduce Kirsche's temper. Peche asks if Kirsche is in charge of lighting the campfire at Valencia Beach, to which Candy praises her classmate's fire abilities. Kirsche, a nervous wreck, humbly accepts the compliment and bids the girls farewell. Sesame believes his friend had the perfect chance to ask Candy about her crush, but Kirsche wonders if he is actually the boy of Candy's dreams. More determined than ever, Kirsche erupts with excitement and vows to do his very best at camp.
