Mojo, known in Japan as moomoo,[a] is a recurring miniboss in Magical Starsign. Mojos are fought twice, once upon arrival to Gren, and later during the first visit to the planet.
Profile
Mojos are fish-like creatures that stand on four legs. They have a set of sharp exterior teeth, a large fin on their backs, and a single lure protruding from their heads. Their bodies are wrapped in a yellow ribbon.[1]
Boss
Mojo has magic with water affinity, having its aura when Cassia is in alignment. It possesses one spell, hailstorm, which damages a single party member. It can also use Swallow Whole, a physical skill that does significant damage to one member of the party. While both encounters of the enemy are listed as the same in the bestiary, the second encounter has 3000 hit points instead of 2500, and drops only 500 bira compared to the first encounter's 600 bira.[1][2]

Bestiary entry
The pirates keep this mojo as their own vicious pet. This unstoppable, hideous, slobbering fiend is, in fact, stoppable, as long as you attack it with magic.

Immediately after arriving on Gren, the party was forced to make an emergency landing due to being pelted by arrows. When they were grounded, they witnessed Semolina being attacked by a mojo, a large monster, as she begged Farina to help her. When the party confronted the mojo, they swiftly defeated it in battle. While it was wounded and unconscious, Farina used her fire magic to kill it off. This concerned Semolina, who did not want Farina to be taken away by the Astro Pirates for using magic.
In the confusion following Pico's escape from Tropica Village, the town was attacked by another mojo deployed by the Astro Pirates. The party managed to temporarily restrain it, but Farina was the one to ultimately kill it once again. As a result, the villagers bore witness to undeniable evidence that Farina was capable of fire magic, and had Durum, Semolina, and Farina banished from their home. The villagers then began their plan to go to war with the pirates.[1]
