Biography[edit | edit source]

Magical Vacation[edit | edit source]

After saving Kirsche from Volcanera, the party visited Mille-feuille and her grandfather Chiffon in their house. Ganache asked if they could be given access to the Wetsomus Ruins in order to reach Green Tea Village, but Chiffon was concerned over how late it was. He offered to give the party an ukuru's feather in the morning, and Mille-feuille volunteered to guide them through the ruins. The next morning, a puppet was found dead in the middle of the village, causing Mille-feuille to break down in tears. She told Chiffon of the murder, which was one of many serial killings that had taken place in Oturan Village. Chiffon began fearing for the Oturan puppets' prosperity, allowing Mille-feuille to grieve before she brought the party to the ruins.

Arriving at the ruins' earthbound shrine, Mille-feuille was met by the innkeeper Tiramisu, who ordered her to relinquish her heart. By doing so, he could give it to the husk of his brother Mousse, as his heart malfunctioned after falling off a cliff two centuries ago. Denying that is brother was dead, Tiramisu lunged at Mille-feuille and reached for her heart. However, he fled to the Wetsomus Ruins once the party rushed in. Mille-feuille continued to guide the party despite being injured, bringing them to the vicious snowhair. They quickly defeated it, then Tiramisu appeared from behind a pillar. Mille-feuille insisted she talk things over with Tiramisu in private, not wanting the party to be involved in the puppets' business. She begged for Tiramisu to stop killing Oturan's villagers, to which Kirsche furiously demanded he be handed over to Chiffon. Mille-feuille refused, as Tiramisu would be pelted with stones and beaten to death if he were turned in. Tiramisu proceeded to leave the ruins and ordered Mille-feuille to meet him at his lodge, so she and the party followed.

At the shrine, Tiramisu secretly watched Mille-feuille run to the village, unaware of his presence. He was then confronted by Ganache, who scolded him for possibly still wanting to steal Mille-feuille's heart. When Tiramisu saw Ganache reveal himself to be a user of the dark spirit, he was chased back to Oturan Village and killed with a mijote spell. The party and Mille-feuille found Tiramisu's wounded body next to Mousse's at the lodge, and in his dying breaths, he wished for Mousse to have his heart. Mille-feuille lamented over the death of yet another puppet, staying with Tiramisu while the party talked with Ganache outside. From then on, Mille-feuille took on the role of Oturan's innkeeper.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]
