Magical Vacation rumors
Magical Vacation rumors[a] was a webpage hosted by Brownie Brown in 2002, where fans could send questions about Magical Vacation to the staff. In cases where questions were directed to certain characters, answers would be written as though they were said by those characters.
To maintain consistency, all names and terminology will be directly translated, rather than using names from the English fan translation.

Where do pinecones come from? (The ones that fall on top of the palace for example)
Ａ：そのあたりの木になりますがある程度成長するとマツクイコガネムシがよってたかって運び始めます。人に見られていないすきに地中の巣まで運ぶのですが運びきれなかったぶんが、途中に放棄されて残ります。
They come from trees in the area. When trees grow tall enough, pine bark beetles start hauling them away. They carry them to their underground nests when people aren't looking. Anything they can't carry is abandoned and left behind on the way to the nest.
Ｑ：正直なところマドレーヌ先生にエニグマはついているのですか？
Does Miss Madeleine honestly have an enigma attached to her?
Ａ：「どうだったっけ？よく覚えてないや」 マドレーヌ談
"How did that all go again? I don't really remember." says Madeleine.

Ａ：結晶なので、自然に結晶します。おおむね１２センチを超えたあたりで意識を持ち始めるようです。

Cassis's father passed away when he was very young. As for Cidre's mother, she's talked about in the story. Café au Lait and Chocolat don't seem to have parents.

Ａ：ツボが土をこねてツボを作ることもあるようです。その場合、親子や兄弟と言う関係が発生するようです。

Ａ：昔はバソリモ村に観光で訪れた人が記念に作っていました。最近ではブラウニーが怠け者になってしまったのでそのようなサービスはなくなってしまったようです。ツボの町はツボたちが協力して作りました。
Back in the day, people who visited Basorimo Village[b] as tourists used to make them into souvenirs. But now the brownies have gotten lazy, and such services no longer exist. The town of the pots was built with the help of pots.
Ｑ：文鳥温泉の文鳥だけどうしてしゃべれるの？
Why is it that only the sparrows at Sparrow Onsen can talk?
Ａ：他の文鳥は「ちゅん・じゅいー」しか言えない呪いにかかっているのです。
The other sparrows are under a curse that only lets them say "chirp, cheep".
Ｑ：マジカルバケーション2は、でるんですか？
Will there be a Magical Vacation 2?
Ａ：いいですね、出て欲しいですね。出たら私も買います。みんなで待ちましょう！

Were Pistachio and Lemon also raised on the Material Plane? Or are they from the Dark Plane?
Ａ：物質プレーンに、ヴォークスの集落もニャムネルトの集落もあります。そこの出身です。ヴォークスの国は木のプレーンにあります。その国から別れた人たちがいろんなプレーンに村を作っています。ニャムネルトは一番最初は風のプレーンで国を作ったといわれていますが１０００年以上前の話なので定かではありません。ニャムネルトも、いろんなプレーンに住んでいます。
On the Material Plane, there are settlements for both wolks and nyamnelts. They [Pistachio and Lemon] are from there. A country of wolks is located on the Wood Plane, and people who have departed from that country live on several other planes. They say nyamnelts were the first to establish a country on the Wind Plane, but it's not for certain because that was thousands of years ago. Nyamnelts also live on various planes.

Ａ：超能力は高次元物理学で説明できますが、魔法は物理法則そのものを変えてしまうこともできるそうです。
Psychic powers can be explained by physics of a higher dimension, whereas magic is able to change the very laws of physics.

Peche's parents are from Wakuti Village, but frequently spent time researching on the Material Plane. Peche was born on the Material Plane and only knows of Wakuti Village from her parents' stories.

Ａ：プレーンは４次元的には同じ場所に重なり合っています。ちょっと次元を違えれば簡単に移動できます。
Each plane overlaps in the same space across four dimensions. You can easily shift between them by slightly altering the dimensions.

What grade are the main characters in?
Ａ：魔法学校ウィルオウィスプには学年というものはありません。それぞれの生徒が好きな講義を受けて、好きな魔法を覚えればいいのです。
There are no grades at Will-o'-Wisp Academy of Magic. Each student can take lectures of their choice, and study magic of their choice.

Ａ：非常勤も含めて１２０人の先生がいます。

Ａ：全員がちゃんと登校しているわけではありませんが、夜間をあわせると６千人程度になります。
Not everyone attends school simultaneously, but the total number of attendees during the day and night is around 6000 people.

Ａ：魚肉を練って釜で焼いた、『ヴォコ』が特産品です。
"Voko" is a local delicacy, made by kneading fish meat and baking it in a cauldron.

Ａ：魔力で動いています。 １００００年以上前には量産されていたとも言われていますが当時は化石燃料で動かしていたようです。
It runs on magic power. It's said that over 10000 years ago, they were mass produced and powered by fossil fuels back then.

Ａ：ハネモドキタケが寄生していると言われていますが、詳細はわかりません。
It might be a parasitic honeysuckle, but it's not very clear.

Ａ：ありません。感覚的にはこの世界の大学みたいなものです。

It seems there was a time in Miss Madeleine's life where she was rampant on various planes. I guess that's when she became well known. Equiokrew possibly feigned ignorance about it, so as to not be talked down to by a human.

Why do gummy frogs turn into capsules when caught?
Ａ：ウィルオウィスプの生徒は、カエルやミミズをカプセルにとじこめて捕まえる訓練をしています。
Will-o'-Wisp students are trained to trap and capture frogs and worms in capsules.

Do gummy frogs taste good? And what flavor are they?

The user's thoughts act as the voice of the protagonist. There are as many different stories as there are users. The users can decide what they say, and under what circumstances.

Ａ：あふれんばかりの愛が具現化したもので身体の一部とも言えるしそうでないとも言えます。
It's the embodiment of overflowing love that may or may not be a part of its body.

Is there a known cause behind Pizza's caprice?
Ａ：何かやるべきことがある人はそわそわしてます。そわそわした人をワープさせるのには体力も使うし、危険も伴います。本人が気がついてなくても何かやるべきことがあるとそわそわしてしまうものです。ピッツァは人のそのような気配を感じとっているのです。
People who have things to do tend to be fidgety. Warping fidgety people is energy-consuming and risky. Even if they aren't aware of it, people will get fidgety if they need to do something. Pizza is able to pick up such signs in people.

They're mostly French and Italian. Beyond that, they're from combinations and corruptions.

Were the spirits born separately?
Ａ：たとえば、この宇宙に土が生まれた時に土の精霊は生まれました。美の精霊は、美という概念が生まれた時に生まれました。光の精霊は光が生まれた時、闇の精霊は闇が生まれた時に生まれました。
For example, the earth spirit was born when the universe conceived soil. The beauty spirit was born when the concept of beauty was born. The light spirit came from the conception of light, and the dark spirit came from the conception of darkness.

Ａ：死のプレーンで死ぬことは完全な消滅を意味します。しかし、本人の意志が完全にそれを受け入れない限りは完全な消滅はなくどこかのプレーンに再生することになります。その時は、今までの姿形とは違っていて意識も他の状態に変わってしまうのである意味「無」になるようなものかも知れません。
Dying on the Death Plane means absolute annihilation. However, if a person's will fully embraces it, they don't disappear completely, and will instead regenerate on some other plane. By then, they're different from their previous form, and their consciousness adopts a new state. So in a sense, you do sort of become "nothing".

The system is a bit different from Japanese schools, as students can choose the lectures they wish to attend. However, there are homeroom teachers who give students advice on which lectures to take. His parents don't use magic. The Nighthawks are descended from a family who lived in the western part of the continent. Back in the day, they could curse and manipulate corpses, but that's no longer the case. The dark element was passed down from generation to generation, though they seldom used magic in public.

Ａ：家に入るときに扉を開けてもらったとか、その程度だと思います。

Rather than being written, they simply appear. Or maybe it's always been written down and you were just unable to read it. It's a puzzling notebook.

Ａ：霊体が壊れていなければ大丈夫。生き物の身体は物質でできているように見えますが実際には霊体と物質体が重なって一個の生き物を形成しています。物質体が壊れても、霊体が壊れなければ物質は再生できるのです。
It's fine, so long as its spirit body isn't damaged. Although the body of living things appear to be made of matter, they're actually a spiritual and material body that overlap to form living beings. Even if the material body is damaged, it can be regenerated if the spiritual body isn't damaged.

It's a mystery. Kovomaka does not have elementary or middle school systems. It's either the first- or second-biggest mysteries in the game, although no one has ever picked up on that particular part.
