Summary
In order to get Latte upgraded with a magic power generator, the party is tasked with climbing the tower so they can consult Grenadine. Getting him to agree will allow them to execute their plan to save the rest of the students, who were warped to the Dark Realm earlier.
Despite being the last dungeon in the Light Realm, Iko Domnag is rather easy to traverse since there are no random encounters; instead, enemies can be fought by interacting with pieces of scrap scattered throughout the hallways. Defeating these enemies will reward the party with a certain type of coin, including pinecones. Additionally, every enemy that appears from the scrap is ancient-elemental, meaning the best party member to bring along is Lemon, whose thunder spells can take them out with ease.
Gummy frog provision
Among the loose scrap are many bomber pots. These special kinds of potfolk only disappear if they are fed one green frog, but will respawn upon re-entering rooms, so it is recommended that players have at least 20-30 green frogs on-hand.
Grenadine's questions
To fight the boss of this dungeon, the party must first talk to the head dwarf, Grenadine, who asks them a series of questions to understand their situation. If Grenadine does not approve of their responses at any point, the conversation restarts from the very beginning. Grenadine initially wonders if the kids are enigmas in disguise, but will eventually understand their reasons for wanting to enter the Dark Realm. To prove whether they are worthy of having a magic power generator, he puts them up against his robotic Cerberus, the tartar terrier.
