The elder tree, known in Japan as the primordial sacred tree,[a] is an optional boss fought at the 1,000-meter point of the Glissini Caves on Nova in Magical Starsign.

The elder tree is identical in appearance to the holy sapling, but with muted wood and red leaves.[1]
Boss[edit | edit source]
The elder tree carries wood affinity, gaining aura when Gren is in alignment. It possesses the spell briar patch, damaging a single member of the party. It also has the physical skill unripe fruit, which similarly deals significant damage to a single party member.[2]

Long ago, the elder tree's seeds gave birth to the planets. Its great, gigantic flowers will bloom until the end of time...or a really huge giant picks them.

全植物のきげんとなる 母なる木の１つ。 けして かれることはなく 宇宙が終わる時まで 大輪の花を さかせるという。
One of the maternal trees from which all vegetation originates. They say it will never wither, continuing to bloom until the end of the universe.
