Egg characters[a] are special party members in Magical Starsign. They are unlocked through Tag Mode.

Egg characters play differently than regular party members in many ways:

  • They only learn two spells by level-up, those being the fifth spell learned by regular party members, as well as a signature egg spell. Egg characters can still learn neutral spells from books.
  • Egg characters' physical skills do not inflict damage; rather, they possess unique effects. Furthermore, egg characters have passive abilities that can be used outside of battle.
  • Rather than leveling up with experience points, egg characters gain levels by frequent usage of Tag Mode. The egg set helps increase experience points for egg characters.
