History
The Death Plane was created from the concept of death, serving as the plane that would govern the universe's laws of reincarnation. Whenever living things died, their souls would transmigrate to the Death Plane, pass through the Death Corridor, and enter Hall of Rebirth to be reborn.[1] Conversely, dying on the Death Plane meant complete annihilation of the physical and spiritual bodies. If one were to fully embraced death, however, they could escape erasure and be reborn in another world as an entirely new being, losing all semblance of their past self. Some interpreted the Death Plane as the universe's only "real" plane, while other planes existed in the illusions of the concepts from which they were produced.[2]
